The Weldmark 3905 High-Profile Tri Pipe Folding Leg Pipe Stand with Stainless Steel Roller-Head is widely used in the welding of heavy pipes, shapes, solids, and rounds. Its tripod structure maintains superior support and widened foot pads improve stability. The strut tension plate of the pipe jack stand gives superior lateral support. The body of the stand is high-quality, premium steel for durability. The lead screw of the stand is resistant to rust and corrosion. The pipe jack stand will hold up to 2,000 lbs. standard V-Head load capacity and features an oversized 10-inch V-Head for increased safety. The stand is adjustable in height from 29-inches to 50-inches for maximum versatility. The roller-head can be adjusted from the side and offers easy positioning with reduced scratching or marring. Oversized 1 1/4-inch square tube legs and braces offer added strength and rigidity. A Quick-lock washer can lock onto the base for increased operator safety and allows for easy and quick height adjustment. The Quick-lock washer supports pipe and keeps both hands free to thread, cut, weld, and position pipe and other long workpieces. The clean and simple design avoids welder interference. The pipe jack stand features a 1 1/2-inch Acme Rod for long operating life and durability. Unique bottom lock T-Handle reduces fit-up wobble. Fully welded carry handle doubles as security lock point. The folding-legs design of the stand allows for easy transport and takes up less storage space in the work area. The roller of the pipe stand is set in a V-head that cradles pipe to keep it centered and prevent it from rolling off the stand. The roller of the pipe lifts or lowers to set pipe at a proper working height and aligns the pipe ends for welding or fittings. Pipe rotates with the roller to ease positioning when threading and roll grooving. The base of the pipe jack stand supplies a stable footing to resist tipping when standing on a level, flat, solid floor. Casters on the base allow wheeling pipe around workshops or jobsites with a level, flat, solid floor. Two or more stands are typically required to support pipe along its length. Made in the USA.
